Hi,
I played football at Georgetown High School, left guard as a junior and right guard as a senior. I was offered a chance to play at a few small colleges; TLU, Tarleton State and some more out of state colleges. Personal reasons kept me from signing.
Anyway, my question is: Are there any leagues that are full contact and full pads around the Austin area?
Thanks,
Mark

Young fella,
Clean up your personal problems and go to school. The thing with some of the pad leagues out here is that some of them pay players and this could ruin your chances of paying college ball. Many of the leagues are not well run.
If you really have to play look into the www.Nationalindoorfootballleague.com the have been around for about 6 years and they usually have good coaches and medical staffs. Managment on some of the teams sucks and they may miss a paycheck but they are an orginized league that will record film.
Best option is to get in school. no joke. Second is to play flag. If you do play on any of the semi-pro pad league, don't take the money if you still have hope.
